WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE HEALTH ASSESSMENT
The Assessment takes about 30 minutes and can be done at your home or office. It starts with blood
pressure and heart rate readings.
Next we do a Body Composition Assessment.
To get your blood pressure and heart rate readings we simply wrap a
special cuff around your upper arm. With the push of a
buttonwe get your readings. Although the Body Composition Assessment tool is a highly-sophisticated piece of equipment, the Tanita 300A
looks similar to a common bathroom scale.Simply step onto the machine in bare feet, long enough for the machine to
measure resistance. This takes just a few seconds, and is completely painless
and non invasive. Next, we sit down and discuss the results.

ABOUT BODY COMPOSITION ASSESSMENTS
48 hrs
BEFORE YOUR ASSESSMENT
In order to achieve the most
accurate results, please follow these instructions:
- No alcohol for 48 hours before analysis
- Avoid intense exercise 12 hours before analysis
- Eat at least 4 hours before analysis if required
- Empty bladder 30 minutes before analysis
- Avoid all diuretics for 7 days before analysis (unless prescription)
- Wear light clothing during analysis
- Schedule your analysis at least 3 hours after waking
- Illness may affect hydration levels, which may alter results
