The Healthy Habit Former program
contains everything a participant needs in order to be successful. Even so,
having in-house or teleconference support with Astrid has proven to be very
beneficial because:
- Some people learn best in a seminar environment
- People like to ask questions and discuss the concepts in the program
- Program adherence is improved when there are regular “check in”
group meetings
- The more people have the opportunity to discuss their progress during
the program, the more motivated they become
In-house or Teleconference Support Options 1. The HOW TO session
Astrid provides an overview of the Healthy Habit Former program. This
includes detailed discussion of how
to do each daily task involved in the program. This is a very effective “kick
off” session for program participants. It tends to get everyone started on the
right foot, improves "buy in", and creates a feeling of community – “we’re in this together”.
2. CHECK IN sessions
Check in sessions are a great way to sustain momentum and focus for the
participants.
Your group comes together with Astrid periodically to discuss the progress,
challenges, and experiences, they are having. New insights occur, clarification
of concepts takes place. This is also when commitment to the program and the
feeling of camaraderie in the group strengthen.
GROUP CHALLENGES
Light hearted, inter organization group challenges can be set up. These
competitions breed excitement in the program, help keep people motivated,
generate lively discussion about participant progress, foster positive banter
between competing groups, and make the program more fun. Program adherence and
completion go up. Having a prize for the winning group intensifies these very
positive outcomes. Best of all, our group challenge programs are easy to
administrate.
HEALTH ASSESSMENTS
Adding Health Assessmentsfor each
participant tends to be a strong motivating factor for people to really succeed
in their Healthy Habit Former program. Health Assessmentsprovide a scientific measurement of progress. Participants get to see exactly
how much fat they lost, and muscle they gained, and
how their blood pressure changed as a result of completing the
Healthy Habit Former program.
This is also and an ideal add-on service for organizations that are having a
GROUP CHALLENGE, as it can be one way of determining one group’s progress over
another.
